Secure Surgical Solutions’ device is working towards combating the discrepancies of the saline industry. This device is not intended to completely replace the traditional methods of saline distribution, instead it will act as a supplementary device to alleviate the inefficiencies of traditional methods.

As the number of hospitals and patients grows, the need for on-demand saline continues to grow. The parental saline market is estimated to be $3 Billion USD today- growing to $3.7 Billion USD in 2026.

One application of this device is in developing and underserved communities. These communities can be found all over the world and typically lack the necessary infrastructure for beneficial healthcare. Implementing Secure Surgical Solutions’ device into these communities eliminates the worry of running out of surgical saline in order to perform life saving surgeries.

Additionally, this device can be utilized in more developed hospitals as a backup device in case of emergent situations. Along with Hospitals, Humanitarian and Relief Organizations– such as the Red Cross, Doctors without Borders, and Bridge of Life- can implement this device into their missions. Many times these groups are going into communities that have severe disparities and damage so having a device that can create surgical fluids from any source is so vital.

Lastly, this device would hold much value to the United States Military. When going on special forces missions, teams are required to carry all their supplies on their person. In order to save space, these teams can utilize our device and not have to worry about running low on supplies or being slowed down by heavy bags of saline.

Despite the medical applications of this device, there are a variety of potential applications outside of the sector.

To expand on the Military, this device can also be utilized to create on-demand drinking water for missions that require a few days away from base camp. This feature is also valuable during disaster relief trips and power outages.
